Lightning delay didn't faze fans
Aranda opened the show - They were quite good, and I was not familiar with them. The heat and humidity were suffocating, with a heat index of 110, and the place was packed. Just as Seether was getting started, a bad storm rolled in. The lightning was really bad, so they delayed the show. Everyone was told to evacuate to the neighboring garages. Thankfully, we made it inside to the a/c, bathrooms, comfortable seats, and a bar. We had quite the wait, but it was worth it. I ran into an old friend from high school. Unfortunately, Seether's show was cut short, leaving some fans disappointed. The people sitting next to me were really pissed and vocal, thinking Seether was the headline. Surprisingly, they stayed for Bear Ghost, who were awesome! The band really gave us their all, and I think they were surprised by the crowd that stayed. It made for a very late Sunday night/Monday morning. We drove almost an hour to the venue, but it was well worth it.
